Bhavika Busa
Bhavika Busa is a compassionate and motivated Physiotherapist who is deeply committed to helping patients move with greater ease, reduce pain, and improve their overall quality of life through evidence-based, hands-on care. Bhavika graduated from J.G. College of Physiotherapy in Gujarat, India in 2021. Bhavika relocated to Ottawa as an international student to first pursue a diploma in Health and Fitness Promotion at Algonquin College. She then started her practice as a Resident Physiotherapist in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. In 2025, Bhavika became a Registered Physiotherapist with the CPO. Her academic training and early clinical experiences shaped a strong foundation in patient-centred care and reinforced her desire to work closely with individuals to support meaningful, long-term recovery. Bhavika chose to pursue a career in physiotherapy because of her passion for helping people restore movement and manage pain without relying on medication. She values physiotherapy’s ability to combine science, movement, and hands-on treatment to support healing in a natural and empowering way. What she finds most rewarding is guiding patients through personalized treatment plans and celebrating progress as they reach goals they may have once felt were out of reach. In her practice, Bhavika takes a holistic and evidence-based approach to care. Her goal with every patient is not only to address their immediate concern, but also to help them build strength, confidence, and understanding of their body. She believes that education, individualized exercise, and active participation are essential components of recovery, and she works collaboratively with patients to support long-term health and injury prevention. Bhavika’s clinical approach incorporates a range of techniques and modalities, including cupping, acupuncture, dry needling, therapeutic taping, shockwave therapy, joint mobilization, soft tissue and myofascial release, and customized rehabilitation exercise programs. She thoughtfully tailors each treatment plan to align with her patient’s unique needs, goals, and lifestyle. Outside of the clinic, Bhavika enjoys staying active and creative. She practices yoga, goes to the gym, and enjoys dancing and gardening. She also has a passion for sketching, which allows her to unwind and express her creativity outside of work. Bhavika’s warm approach, commitment to patient education, and dedication to collaborative care make her a valued member of the CURAVITA Community of Care.
