Michele Corriveau

Dr. Michèle Corriveau is a seasoned Chiropractor with a profound commitment to patient care, community service, and professional advancement. Graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2009 with both a Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree and a Bachelor of Science degree, Dr. Corriveau has been an integral part of CURAVITA Health Group since 2011, based at our Byward location in Ottawa. Upon graduation, Dr. Corriveau embarked on her chiropractic career in the Quebec City region before relocating to Ottawa in 2011 to join the CURAVITA healthcare team. Joining CURAVITA was a strategic choice driven by the Clinic’s unique approach to practice and commitment to patient service excellence. In 2021, Dr. Corriveau was appointed to the role of Technical Lead at CURAVITA, further showcasing her dedication to advancing chiropractic care. In this role, and reporting to the CEO, Dr. Corriveau directly contributes toward the coordination, strategy, and development of the technological resources and information systems of the CURAVITA Clinics and provides sound technical leadership in all aspects of the business including Clinic management systems, marketing, and social media tools. Dr. Corriveau is proficient in a range of chiropractic techniques including Thompson, Diversified, Activator, Logan, and Gonstead. Her technical expertise is complemented by a keen interest in technology, making her a well-rounded practitioner attuned to the challenges of modern, sedentary lifestyles. Chiropractic has been Dr. Corriveau’s lifelong ambition, inspired by her childhood experiences with a chiropractor who played a crucial role in her health care team. Growing up as an avid basketball player, she understands the importance of optimal musculoskeletal health for performance and well-being. Patients can expect a thorough and holistic assessment into the root causes of their issues, along with practical tips for improving day-to-day health. In 2023, she was honored and received the prestigious Forty Under 40 Award which is a joint initiative of the Ottawa Board of Trade and the Ottawa Business Journal recognizing rising business leaders under the age of 40 in the National Capital Region. Fluent in both English and French, Dr. Corriveau is committed to providing inclusive and accessible care. Her community involvement extends beyond the Clinic, where she volunteers at the Ottawa Mission, providing chiropractic services and collaborating with the on-site medical clinic team. She has also served on the Board of Directors of the Women’s Business Network of Ottawa and was Chair of the Marketing Committee for several years. In 2024, she was a WBN’s Businesswoman of the Year finalist in the Community Impact category. Away from the Clinic, Dr. Corriveau is a person with a curious mind with a love for stand-up comedy, cinema, gourmet cuisine, and an active lifestyle that includes biking, swimming, and regular workouts. An avid reader and DIY enthusiast, she cherishes downtime with her two cats and values meaningful connections through engaging in fun game nights.
