Prachi Patel, PT
Prachi Patel is a caring and dedicated Physiotherapist who is passionate about helping patients reduce pain, restore movement, and achieve greater independence through personalized, evidence-informed care. She is committed to building meaningful relationships with her patients and supporting them throughout every stage of their rehabilitation journey. Prachi completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Gujarat University in India, graduating in 2019. She relocated to Canada in 2021 and continued to expand her clinical experience by working as a Physiotherapy Assistant, then as a Resident Physiotherapist, and becoming a Registered Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario in 2024. Prachi has worked in private physiotherapy settings, treating a wide range of musculoskeletal, neurological, and post-operative conditions. Her diverse experience has strengthened her commitment to delivering individualized care that helps patients achieve lasting improvements in their health and well-being. Prachi was drawn to physiotherapy because of her passion for healthcare and her desire to help people improve their quality of life. She values the opportunity to work closely with patients, understand their unique challenges, and empower them to regain confidence in their movement and everyday activities. For Prachi, one of the most rewarding aspects of her profession is witnessing a patient's progress—from overcoming pain and physical limitations to achieving meaningful personal goals. Through CURAVITA's collaborative, patient-centred approach to care, Prachi believes every treatment plan should be tailored to the individual. She takes the time to understand each patient's lifestyle, abilities, and goals, developing practical rehabilitation plans that focus on reducing pain, improving strength and mobility, restoring function, and promoting long-term independence. She places a strong emphasis on patient education, believing that informed patients are better equipped to actively participate in their recovery and maintain their progress well beyond the clinic. Prachi's clinical approach combines hands-on treatment with active rehabilitation to achieve the best possible outcomes. Her treatment techniques include manual therapy, soft tissue therapy, therapeutic exercise, strengthening and mobility training, balance and functional rehabilitation, acupuncture, and dry needling. She continually expands her clinical knowledge through ongoing professional development and has completed additional training in pelvic health, acupuncture, and dry needling, allowing her to provide comprehensive, evidence-informed care tailored to each patient's unique needs. Outside of the clinic, Prachi enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle through tennis and hiking. She also loves travelling, exploring new places, and spending quality time with family and friends. Always eager to embrace new experiences, she values finding balance between her professional life and personal well-being.
